The Trace of Memories A unique way of storytelling
I'm not the best type of person to summarize ideas in a few words—I never have been (this is not an AI “—”). And that's why I find in photography a tool to tell a story in one frame. It helps me to translate a narrative into something tangible.
Though you are on a wedding photography website, for me it represents a philosophy. I seek in photography the pursuit of unique memories and the ability to capture years of past experiences frozen by the lens.
I believe in human connection, and while it might look like I'm talented, I seriously think my pictures are good because of my attitude and way of being. I experience and feel with my clients (many of them long-term friends by now). I look for connection, and sometimes it might look like I'm being too serious—it's because I get in a flow state so deep that hours pass quickly, and my attention is at its peak looking to capture what I call "the golden frame."
What is a "golden frame"?
I call this picture the unicorn of the day. It's capturing that specific photo where I know, the moment I have it, that you will cherish it like gold. It's a photo that has no price. Sometimes it happens because it's such a happy memory that it shows you everything you have. Sometimes it might show the passing of time, the unpredictability of life, and one moment that you will always be grateful to have captured. I often know when I have it; sometimes they turn into a golden frame by chance. Regardless of how, my greatest fulfillment as a photographer is knowing that I will always be part of your story for being on the other side of that golden frame.
